What is Kiwanis?

Ordinary people performing EXTRAORDINARY WORK!

Kiwanis, through guidance and example, works to develop future generations of leaders.  Every day, Kiwanians are revitalizing neighborhoods, organizing youth-sports programs, tutoring, building playgrounds, and performing countless other projects to help children and communities.

The Objects of Kiwanis

To give primacy to the human and

spiritual, rather than the material

 values of life.

To encourage the daily living of the

golden rule in all human

relationships.

To promote the adoption and

 the application of higher social,

business, and professional standards.

To develop, by precept and example, a more intelligent, aggressive and serviceable citizenship.

To provide through Kiwanis Clubs,

 a practical means to form

enduring friendships, to render

altruistic service, and to build

better communities.

To cooperate in creating and

maintaining the sound public

opinion and high idealism which

make possible the increase in righteousness, justice,

patriotism, and good will.

Potential members are encouraged to attend at least three meetings prior to submitting an application for membership.  This three meeting period gives you the opportunity to get to know our members and to be certain that you understand the commitment membership brings.  Your sponsoring member will be happy to assist with your application process.   Your application will be processed by the Board of Directors, when submitted with the appropriate membership fees, and your induction ceremony will be scheduled.

Membership applications must be accompanied with a one-time initiation fee of $75.  Dues are $130 per year, payable semi-annually or annually and are prorated as necessary for new members joining during the October 1st - September 30th Kiwanis year.
