This year's theme, Celebrating
50 years of "A Charlie Brown Christmas", will highlight the joys this special
program gave us as we grew up, and then, watched over again with our own children ...memories we treasure no matter our age!
Charlie Brown and Linus pick out a scrawny tree in "A Charlie Brown Christmas", a TV special
based on the "Peanuts" comic strip by Charles M. Schulz.
As you likely
know, the scrawny tree embodies the spirit of A Charlie Brown Christmas, a TV special that has proven to be timeless and is
now airing in its 50th year.
Since 1965, that scrawny tree has been compared to
many real-life Christmas trees that would never be seen on a holiday greeting card. And if you have one in your past - or
in your den - we want to see it in our parade this year!
Our Grand Marshal for this year will be
IRMA COTA, CEO of
COUNTY HEALTH SERVICES
