For Kiwanians, making a difference in our community is a driving force behind every
community service projects we provide. Our volunteers are making a DIFFERENCE IN LIFE
for our neighbors and the community in many big and small ways every day!
The San Diego Blood Bank provides YOU the opportunity
to make a difference in the lives of others... by donating blood. The need for blood never stops. The
San Diego Blood Bank needs to collect 400 units EACH DAY to meet our county's needs! By making
a difference in life, you are helping to ensure that life-sustaining blood is available for patients in your community.
What You
Should Bring When Donating
- Photo ID
- List of medications you are taking
- List of places you have visited outside of the U.S. in the past 3 years
- A friend to donate with you!

the points you accrue by donating blood to purchase gift cards and merchandise of your choice. Visit the
Life Saver Store for more info. |
| If you have given blood in the
last eight weeks (16 weeks for double red cell donations), please tell a friend so they can “make a difference in life!” |
